A fan-built LEGO spaceship over 10 feet long draws renewed attention
A LEGO Tantive IV more than 10 feet long, built by Dubbzi Bricks over about two years, received renewed attention from European outlets on October 20.
It is a personal fan build documented through its creator’s finale video and independent visual analysis, rather than an official retail set or certified world record.
Scaling a fictional ship around toy figures
Tantive IV is a spaceship from Star Wars. The creator’s original video description says its exterior is built to minifigure scale and that it exceeds 10 feet in length. Ten feet equals 3.048 metres, putting the model in the roughly three-metre class. This is not a human-carrying spacecraft or a functioning means of transport.
The interior is part of the project
The finale’s description promises a view of both inside and outside. Xataka’s visual analysis discusses opening panels, interior film scenes, lighting and display supports. A long model requires decisions about how it stands and how viewers access its interior, alongside its exterior shape. That makes the construction process more involved than simply enlarging a small retail model.

Why weight and piece counts are not record figures here
Coverage includes estimates of parts, cost and weight, but these have not been checked against independent institutional counting or weighing. The central numerical claims here are the creator’s stated duration and length in the original description. Exterior minifigure scale does not guarantee that every internal room uses an identical scale. Nor was a basis for calling it the world’s largest established.
A new wave of attention, not a new completion date
The timely element is the renewed coverage on October 20; this does not establish that the build was first finished on those dates. The original finale is the next source for examining structure, with the creator’s separate retrospective relevant to cost and parts claims. This briefing does not guarantee that the model is on sale or that a permanent display can currently be visited.
